Built to Be Kept: Replaceable Parts and the Five-Year Warranty

An electric scooter should not be a disposable gadget. Too many are designed like phone trade-ins: ride it two seasons, battery fades, frame loosens, replace the whole thing. We built NF scooters to go the other way.
Replaceable by design
Every NF scooter is designed around replaceable components. In practice that means:
- The part that wears is the part you swap — not the whole scooter.
- Wear items are serviceable without special tools or a send-away-and-wait repair queue.
- Because we assemble each scooter by hand, we know how it comes apart, which makes service predictable instead of exploratory.
The five-year warranty
Every scooter carries a five-year warranty. A long warranty is not a marketing gesture — it is a statement about how long we expect the machine to last and how we intend to stand behind it. The current details live on the warranty page.
Keeping yours on the road
The practical side of ownership lives in one place: the Ownership & Parts page. Care basics, replacement parts, and the service path are all there. And if something ever needs a human, support starts a real conversation — with people who know the scooter because they build it.
The philosophy, in one line
We would rather sell you a scooter you still love in year six than a newer model every eighteen months. That is the whole idea behind "designed to be kept" — and why every design decision from the 2026 model onward starts with the question: can this be serviced, and will it last?
